NFL in EuropeNFL Europe 2027: which cities get a game, and how to be ready
Two European cities are certain to host regular-season NFL games in 2027: London, through contracts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Wembley, and Berlin, under its agreement for the Olympiastadion. Madrid, Dublin, Paris and Frankfurt are still to be confirmed, and Munich is next scheduled for 2028. No dates or matchups have been announced.
Europe's place in the NFL's 2027 plan
The NFL has approved up to 10 league-managed international games for 2027, and Europe has supplied most of the venues in recent seasons. In 2026 alone the continent hosts five games across London, Paris, Madrid and Munich, with Paris staging its first regular-season game at the Stade de France on 25 October and Madrid returning to the Bernabéu on 8 November.
For 2027 the honest summary is short: two cities are contracted, one is scheduled to skip the year, and the rest are hopes, intentions or open questions. Nothing about kick-off dates, opponents or host teams is official yet. The full global picture, including Mexico City, Melbourne and Brazil, sits on our International Series 2027 hub.
Locked in for NFL Europe: London and Berlin
London remains the European capital of the NFL, with 43 regular-season games played since 2007. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium's deal, extended in 2023, guarantees at least two games every season through 2029-30, and the Jacksonville Jaguars are scheduled for at least one game at Wembley in 2027. That means a minimum of three London games, with dates and opponents to be confirmed.
Berlin hosted its first regular-season game on 9 November 2025, an overtime win for the Colts over the Falcons, 31-25, in front of 72,207. The agreement with the Berlin Senate covers games in 2025, 2027 and 2029, so 2027 is on, though the host team and opponent are not yet known.
European NFL cities waiting for news: Madrid, Dublin and Paris
Madrid signed a multi-year deal with the NFL, Real Madrid and the city and regional authorities on 2 February 2026. Its length has not been published, and the league's Spain lead has called 2027 the intention rather than a done deal. The first Bernabéu game, in November 2025, went to overtime: Dolphins 16, Commanders 13, before 78,610.
Dublin drew 74,512 to Croke Park for Steelers 24, Vikings 21 in September 2025, but was left out in 2026. Croke Park's director said in February 2026 he was confident about 2027, and the Irish government backs a return in 2027 or 2028; the NFL has announced nothing.
Paris has its debut ahead on 25 October 2026, Steelers against Saints. That was announced as a single game, with no public multi-year agreement, so 2027 is to be confirmed. French fans will at least get more on TV: from 2027 L'Equipe and France Televisions show games free-to-air.
Germany's rotation: Munich and Frankfurt in NFL Europe 2027
The NFL claims more than 20 million fans in Germany, its largest base in Europe, and splits its German games by year. Munich has an agreement for 2026 and 2028, so after New England meets Detroit at the Allianz Arena on 15 November 2026, the city should sit out 2027. Frankfurt staged two games in November 2023, Chiefs over Dolphins and Colts over Patriots, but has no announced return; for now Germany's slots go to Berlin and Munich.
How European NFL tickets work
Every European game is sold through Ticketmaster, and you need a free NFL Ticketmaster account, created at nfl.com/international/ticketaccount. Once a city is announced, nfl.com opens an interest registration page for it, and registrants get sale information first. In 2026 the order was the same everywhere: an American Express presale in late May or early June, hospitality in early June, then general sale in July.
- Prices are displayed all-in, fees included, since the 2026 season.
- London limited buyers to six tickets per account per game.
- Tickets are mobile and land in your account up to 72 hours before kick-off.
- Dublin's 2025 general sale had more than 600,000 accounts logged in, and Hill 16 had its own ballot.
Resale sites exist, but account-linked mobile tickets can be cancelled or blocked, so check terms before you pay anyone other than the official seller.
Planning an NFL Europe trip from the UK or the US
British fans have the simplest calendar: London is guaranteed, and Dublin, Berlin and Madrid are short flights if they host. American fans travelling over should think in two steps: refundable hotel bookings once host cities are named, usually around Super Bowl week, then flights once matchups come out in May. European games have kicked off at 09:30 Eastern in 2026, mid-afternoon local time, which suits a Sunday flight home the next day.
