NFL London 2027: what is locked in, what is still to come

Where NFL London stands for 2027

London is the one European city where a 2027 NFL presence is not in doubt. Two separate commitments cover it. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium signed a ten-year deal starting in 2019, extended by two years in 2023, which runs to the 2029-30 season and requires a minimum of two NFL games every season. Separately, the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have played in London every year since 2013, are scheduled for at least one game at Wembley in 2027.

The Jaguars detail matters. Their home stadium in Florida is being rebuilt, so the club plays its 2027 home dates in Orlando, and the league had already earmarked league-run international games for Jacksonville in 2027. What nobody can tell you yet is the date, kick-off time or opponent of any 2027 London game: all of that is to be confirmed.

In May 2026 owners also approved up to ten league-managed international games for 2027. See the full picture on our International Series 2027 page.

Two decades of NFL in London

It started on 28 October 2007, when the New York Giants beat the Miami Dolphins 13-10 in front of 81,176 people, the first regular-season NFL game played outside the Americas. By 9 October 2026, London had staged 43 regular-season games: 27 at Wembley, 3 at Twickenham between 2016 and 2018, and 13 at Tottenham. There was no game in 2020. A selection of recent results:

After the two remaining 2026 games, the total reaches 45.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium: London's purpose-built NFL venue

Tottenham is the only stadium outside the United States designed with the NFL in mind. The football pitch slides away to reveal a synthetic NFL field underneath, and the venue is badged as the home of the NFL in the UK. Official capacity is 62,850; NFL crowds sit around 61,000.

• White Hart Lane (London Overground, Weaver line from Liverpool Street): about five minutes on foot, the easiest option.
• Northumberland Park (Greater Anglia and Stansted Express trains): around ten minutes.
• Tottenham Hale (Victoria line and Greater Anglia): 20 to 25 minutes on foot.
• Seven Sisters (Victoria line and Overground): roughly 25 minutes on foot.

Wembley: the big stage for NFL London 2027

Wembley holds 90,000 for football, and NFL games there draw around 86,000. It is the Jaguars' London base and the likeliest setting for their 2027 game.

• Wembley Park (Jubilee and Metropolitan lines): about ten minutes along Olympic Way.
• Wembley Stadium station (Chiltern Railways from London Marylebone): around seven minutes.
• Wembley Central (Bakerloo line and the Overground Lioness line): about fifteen minutes.

How to get NFL London tickets when sales open

Official tickets go through Ticketmaster, but only via a free NFL Ticketmaster account created at nfl.com/international/ticketaccount. Set it up now and register your interest on the London page at nfl.com/international so you receive the sale links. In 2026 the Tottenham sequence ran like this: American Express presale 27 May to 2 June, hospitality 5 June, Spurs members 23 June, and general sale on 7 July. Expect a similar rhythm in 2027, but the exact dates are to be confirmed.

• Since 2026, prices are shown all-in, with fees included.
• London games are capped at six tickets per account per game.
• Tickets are mobile and can arrive as late as 72 hours before the game.
• Ticket-and-hotel packages are sold by authorised partners such as SportsBreaks, Dertour and NFL On Location.

Resale listings appear early, but tickets sit in a named account and are released late, so a listing can be a promise rather than a ticket. Our London ticket alert tells you when each window opens.

NFL London budget and match-day tips

The 2026 price ranges for each London game are shown on this page; 2027 prices are to be confirmed. For a weekend, travel and hotels usually cost more than the ticket. Book a flexible room early, then fix transport once the date appears in May.

• Kick-offs in London have tended to land in the early afternoon UK time, so a same-day return within Britain is realistic.
• Check the venue's entry and bag rules on the stadium website a few days before you travel.
• Keep your phone charged: your ticket lives in the Ticketmaster app.

Coming to the NFL in London from the US or elsewhere in Britain

For American fans, a London game is the easiest overseas NFL trip: no language barrier, frequent direct flights and a Sunday afternoon kick-off that leaves the evening free. Pick a base on the Victoria line for Tottenham or the Jubilee line for Wembley. From elsewhere in the UK, mainline trains into King's Cross, Euston or Marylebone connect quickly to both venues.
